Seat Ritmo 75 CLX

González David (Spain)

Stand: 2007 - September - 25

Hello.

My name is David González and I signed to your club days ago. Now I send to you some pictures and a brief story of my car to upload to your site if you are interested.

My car is a Seat Ritmo 75 CLX, bought in july 1982 by my grandfather. The engine is the same as the italian Fiat 124 Special. You can see in one picture it's not an SOHC engine, like the Fiat Ritmo 75. The trim level is similar to the Italian Super but Seat didn't provide any optional equipment. The car has got front electrical windows, check control, adjustable steering wheel, etc. Anyway, you can see the brands, different of the Fiat.

I drive the car since 2002. Then the condition of the car wasn't as good as it shoud be but during this time I repaired and improved many items. Now, the main thing I have to repair is the paintwork and the rust. Here in Spain, Ritmos aren't appreciated, we prefer brand new german cars, but I think I have something special and I love it very much. I try to keep the car as original as I can, nothing but the left mirror (anyway, taken from another Ritmo CLX) is different when the car came out from the factory (but time

I have a web site I use to know other owners in Spain: www.seatritmo.net , with press articles, pictures, brochures, etc. and I hope one day we do the same things in Spain you do in Germany.
